crowder creativity

i love david crowder’s heart and passion.  i’ve followed his journey…there is so much talent in one guy.  creativity is a gift to him.  he has the ability to draw you in…no matter where you are in your life journey.  a few years ago (confession) i crashed by one of the big youth workers events and enjoyed he was the opening band.  simply amazing.  i love how he can take a simple idea and amp it up.  you can follow him on his xanga here

barnes is also a good shot with the keyboard

on of my twitter buddies is @karlrove.  he and another real friend fred barnes were out enjoying the countryside…somewhere…karl posted this cool shot of fred’s good work. glad to see him get out and about! barnes is probably one clearest writers in politics today. he’s the editor at the weekly standard where he hangs out with bill kristol and the rest of the “vast conspiracy”…good men all.

cheering us on…so we aren’t hindered

there’s is much that comes against our hearts everyday.  here’s an interesting story that just rocked me.

This story rocked me because it points out the greatest need each human has…to be seen…to be known and to make a difference.  the past week has been filled with more conversations that i care to recount at more levels than i want.   the writer of Hebrews penned it well…

Hebrews 12:1, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
