a crazy day…

finally winding up the day. been a crazy one. spent the morning working on getting some paper work caught up. then off to lunch with other pastors from around town to talk about the launch of our third campus. the discussion was great. all very supportive and encouraging. many good questions and i think an even larger vision may be developing to impact the community for the Kingdom. there are some 40,000 plus unchurched folks in our county…we’re figuring about 16,000 in the city alone. more than enough to draw from for a new and interesting effort. it was fun to connect with other pastors who’ve i’ve known for along time and to now be part of a new effort. heard many encouraging words. somewhere in the midst of the afternoon i got to the outpost just in time to have tony ring my cell to find out if i was jumping in on the WATGP. a great conversation ensued from that and you can have a listen later this week when it goes live. then i worked with my right hand on the youthscape build, jim and came up with plans for the next couple of days. i think we may hit the deadline of 16 march. fun stuff…almost as fun as the ride home….DSCN1641.jpgpouring cats and dogs and the trees were just filled with ice even had to detour twice around them. and when i got home and the polls had closed and a great american stood to the stage and shared his story…huckabee quoted a letter from a lt. col. travis…the words were louder than anything i’ve heard in recent days…

I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country — Victory or Death

wonder what tomorrow will bring?
