this is incredible. life changing for so many. I value public education, rightly understood and have long been an advocate for choice in education for many years. I had the privilege of being involved in several key efforts during the tenure of then Governor Voinovich in the mid ’90s. This story about 18yr old Sam and the journey his mother Tera and family took to afford him the greatest of opportunities. Tenacity pays off…not just for this family, but for so many. I know many at MCS…and in particular several of the students that are in this video…you can see that not only is Sam being afforded a good education, but those in his school community are also being blessed by his presence….a total win.
