its been almost 2 weeks since returning from the Present:Hope Tour and some 803 miles riding from Joplin, MO to Atlanta. Yesterday I was able to get out for a 26 mile ride. it felt good…but odd. the sense of the community that developed from the shared mission with the 12 other riders was noticeably absent. the voices up front warning of a road grate or gravel…or the voices behind making you aware of a “car back”. life moves on. i did enjoy bumping into a student i hadn’t seen all summer. Robbie went with the team on Mission:Alabama in June. nice to get caught up with him.
