Working on the house today and downloaded some great teachings from a recent Desiring God conference to listen to. One in particular looked really interesting: Thinking for the Sake of Global Faithfulness: Confronting Islam with the Mind of Christ. I’m not familiar with this pastor, Thabiti Anyabwile (from First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman) but found his keen insight for us, living in a land where pluralism has become a hallmark, offering some of the best “unpacking” of what is at stake as we strive to live in our increasing diverse communities. I’ve jumped in to this clip near the end of his conversation just to get to the meat of what is our responsibility as Christians as we encounter Muslins and Islam or more simply how do i talk to my neighbor who is Muslin?
